JEWELLERY CARE
Caring for your Nacre & Atlas jewellery
Jewellery is designed to be worn and enjoyed. A little care will help preserve the finish, colour and detailing of your Nacre & Atlas pieces.
Wear with care
We recommend putting your jewellery on after applying perfume, moisturiser, hairspray and other beauty products.
Remove jewellery before showering, bathing, swimming or exercising, and avoid prolonged contact with water, salt water and chlorine.
Keep it dry
Moisture and chemicals can affect jewellery finishes over time, particularly gold-tone and plated pieces. If your jewellery becomes wet, gently dry it with a soft, clean cloth before storing.
Store carefully
When you're not wearing your jewellery, store each piece separately in its original pouch or box in a cool, dry place.
Keeping pieces separate will help prevent scratching, tangling and unnecessary contact between different materials.
Pearls
Pearls and pearl detailing are naturally delicate. Avoid direct contact with perfume, cosmetics and household chemicals, and gently wipe them with a soft cloth after wear.
Gold Vermeil & Sterling Silver
Gold vermeil is created by applying a layer of gold over sterling silver. With wear, the finish can naturally soften over time.
To preserve your gold vermeil pieces, avoid water, perfumes and lotions and store them carefully when not in use. Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth rather than abrasive jewellery cleaners.
Raffia & Textile Details
Our raffia and textile designs should be kept away from water and stored carefully to help maintain their shape.
Avoid crushing or placing heavy objects on top of statement earrings with raffia detailing.
A final note
Jewellery naturally develops character with wear. Treat your Nacre & Atlas pieces with care and they can remain part of your wardrobe season after season.
